Ferguson laments defending

Preston North End boss Darren Ferguson launched a stinging attack on his defenders following the 5-3 horror show at Derby County on Tuesday evening.
The defeat saw the Rams jump over Preston in the league table and the manner in which they conceded the goals particularly infuriated the former Peterborough manager.
He said: "Derby didn't have to work for any of the four goals they scored in the second half. A blind man could see where the problem was. The second, third, fourth and fifth goals were an absolute nonsense.
"Listen, if you score three times away from home you have to expect to get something out of the game. At this level of football we have to have consistent performances. I can't afford to carry anyone, not at this level."
