Preston North End boss Darren Ferguson is looking to add some depth to his squad as he aims to build on his team's recent upturn in form.
Preston have taken seven points out of the last nine on offer to improve their chances of steering clear of relegation trouble this season.
Ferguson is delighted with his side's recent resurgence, saying: "We've got good players and a good squad here, but we definitely have to look to strengthen.
"You look at the bench and, with no disrespect to the younger boys, we need to be stronger there, we really do. That is something we may have to look at.
"It's a hard league, it takes its toll, and we've used the least amount of players in the division, which I thought might be the case.
"We had Sean St Ledger limping around, Keith Treacy is playing with a bad groin, Jon Parkin is shattered and Adam Barton is completely shot. That isn't me having a go at anyone, but we need one or two more bodies."
