Ellington Tweets Over Alleged Racism

Nathan Ellington through the medium of Twitter has stated that he was subjected to monkey chants and other racist abuse whilst warming up at the New Den away at Millwall yesterday. Preston made no formal complaint after the game but it has become clear they were unaware of any abuse until Ellington came out on his Twitter account hours after the game. It appears the club are now considering their options further and if they believe the allegations to be serious enough then a formal complaint could be made. It just capped off what was a truly terrible day for North End who put on their worst performance for Phil Brown in front of the cameras.
