Double Addition

Published: 05 Feb 2012 - 21:38:07

Preston added two more new faces to their ever changing squad despite the fact that the January transfer window has well and truly shut.

Westley managed to catch ex-Bolton defender Nicky Hunt and Aarron Brown. Both had their contracts terminated by Bristol City and Aldershot leaving them to be free agents and to sign for a club outside of the window without commanding a fee.

Both have signed short term contracts which helps out Westley as both can play at the back which is where Preston are short on numbers with Carlisle leaving and Morgan suspended for the next game.

The two newest recruits are likely to go straight into the squad to face Tranmere this Saturday which could now potentially have nine new faces compared to the starting eleven from the Wycombe game.
