Preston North End midfielder Chris Sedgwick has committed his future to Paul Simpson's side by signing a two-year extension to his current deal.
The 27-year-old is pleased to have sorted out his immediate future and is looking forward to spending the next three seasons at Deepdale.
"We've been talking about it for a few weeks now so I'm glad it's done and dusted," Sedgwick told the club's official website.
"The manager has been getting a lot of the players tied up over the past couple of months, so I was pleased when he pulled me in and offered me one and I'm pleased that I'm a part of his plans."
Sedgwick has made 132 appearances for Preston following his transfer from Rotherham United almost thee years ago.
