Coutts Demands Transfer

Preston have confirmed that captain Paul Coutts met with Peter Risdale prior to Saturday's game when it is believed the youngster asked for a transfer.

New boss Westley has denied that Coutts is going anywhere and wants to keep his young skipper. Westley did confirm that Coutts wanted some clarification over the direction of where the club was heading and this was given in the hope that Coutts would remain a Preston player.
