Carter sends out PNE warning

North End were beaten in last season's play-off semi-final against Sheffield United but looked primed to make another strong assault this term. They are undefeated after three games and go into this weekend's home clash against Peterborough in buoyant mood after thrashing Barnsley 3-0 in midweek. Carter said: "We just want to carry on in the same vein. "If we keep on having performances like we did in midweek then we're going to be in amongst it so that's all we can ask for."
