Brown Turns To Paynter

Preston are set to turn to the loan market to sign Leeds forward Billy Paynter to cover for their crocked trio of forwards.

The deal may well be concluded on Monday as Simon Grayson stated that Leeds have been contacted by a League One club as they would not be willing to loan him out to a Championship club.

Proctor, Hume and Mellor are all injured leaving only Tsoumou as the only recognised forward who finished the Huddersfield game alongside Daley up front.Brown is desperate for reinforcements.
