Wallace Joins Burnley
Ross Wallace has moved to Burnley for an undisclosed fee after two seasons at Deepdale Wallace started on loan at Preston before he was snatched up for a fee of around £250,000. He was a high earner on the wage list and it is thought that Preston have managed to bank up to four times the money they paid out for Wallace. Despite not being on the transfer list Darren Ferguson never publicly showed his love for Wallace who clearly had temper problems most of the way throughout last season. He drifted in and out of games picking up so many meaningless yellow cards for no apparent reason. For a left winger it was far too many although his free kick taking will be missed.
