Vardy Interest
Phil Brown has confirmed his interest in FC Halifax striker James Vardy who topped the charts in the Northern Premier League last season. Brown is aiming to bolster his frontline as he looks for a partner for Iain Hume who has committed his future to the club. The boss has challenged Hume to top 20 goals next season. It is expected that Ellington will be offered a deal once his contract comes to an end at Watford whilst Chris Brown will be offered reduced terms at the club. Vardy is also on his hitlist but no moves have been made as of yet.
