United Boys Recalled

The domino effect has started as Sir Alex Ferguson has called back Ritchie De Laet and Josh KIng back to Old Trafford with immediate effect. Ferguson Snr who is set to be fuming at the sacking of his son has recalled the pair who were set to end their loan spells after this weekend's double header. Both were on short term loan deals. King had been with Preston since the start of the season but injury meant he rarely played and never looked anything like a United youth player. He was set to join up with former reserve team coach Solskjaer after his loan period expired. De Laet has been more impressive in his short stay but it was never clear if he was going to stay beyond next week. Both players had an immediate recall clause in their loan deals which were put into effect following the sacking of Darren Ferguson. Matty James who hasn't featured recently but is on a season long loan is also wanted back at Old Trafford. Due to the nature of his contract, James could not be called back immediately but Fergie Snr is set to start a battle to bring back the midfielder. Maurice Lindsay was said to be very disappointed at the news as all three players wanted to stay at Preston due to the fact that they were getting game time for the Whites.
