Preston put together back to back wins to extend their unbeaten run to five games and in the process taking a significant step towards safety.

Grayson kept consistency in his team selection with Garner coming in for the injured King as the only change in the starting line up and his selection paid dividends.

Preston have started using the wide men even more under the new regime and Garner put pressure ont eh end of the cross which was eventually converted by Hollis from Notts County.

The visitors had numerous opportunities to put the game to bed after their early goal but failed to convert leaving a nervous end tot he match. County hit the bar just before half time but could not find an equaliser ending their seven game unbeaten run.

North End are now moving int he right direction up the table and are one of the form teams in the division. Grayson wants the unbeaten run to continue to give them some good momentum for the start of next season.
