Two Further Trialists On Show

27 July 2011 13:13
Preston will line up with two more trialists at tonight's pre-season game away at Morecambe. It's a throw back to the Moyes era with so many trialists coming through the revolving door including Maclean, Mills, Cooper, Carroll and Lucas not to mention the trialist Brown looked at towards the end of last season after relegation was confirmed. Preston will have their fifth keeper of pre-season with German stopper Stuckmann playing in tonight's game after being released at the end of last season. It may well be a short lived stint as Brown is hopeful of getting Iain Turner back for Sunday's game against Wigan although he did confirm that a tentative offer had been made to Roy Carroll. Stephen Jordan will fill the left back vacancy tonight with Brown looking at the former City and Burnley player set to start against Morecambe. Brown is hopeful that one of the trialists will sign a permanent deal before the start of the season.
