Scunthorpe manager Ian Baraclough is worried safety considerations are being overlooked because their match with Millwall is scheduled to be televised.Several games this weekend have already fallen foul of the weather, but the Iron's game at the New Den on Saturday at 1720 GMT is not one.

Baraclough told BBC Radio Humberside: "Sky TV along with the Football League run this country's football.

"If they want the game on I'm sure they'll do everything to get it on."

The Iron, like many clubs across the UK, have seen their training schedules affected by the weather.

The whole country has been hit and there are problems for us to get about at the moment Scunthorpe manager Ian Baraclough "We trained Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday was a day off and the players have stayed at home today but I asked them to do their own training session," said Baraclough.

"The whole country has been hit. I'm in the East Midlands at the moment and we've not had as much as there has been in North Lincolnshire, South Yorkshire and South London but there are problems for us to get about at the moment."
