Turner Set To Make Move Permanent

Iain Turner is set to make his loan move to Preston a permanent switch once his contract expires at Everton. The 27 year old impressed during his time at Deepdale despite the side being relegated. Phil Brown was a big fan and Turner had stated that if he could get first team football then he would move on from Everton. The signing of Turner obviously leaves Andy Lonergan in the lurch. Brown has openly admitted that if the right offer comes in for the keeper then he will be allowed to leave. Everton were rumoured to be interested but have since cooled over the keeper.
