Preston have extended the loan spell of goalkeeper Iain Turner from Everton for a further month. Turner has started six consecutive games before missing out on the home defeat to Leeds through injury. He told the club's official website: "I'm delighted about the extension because all I wanted to do was play games and I've been given the opportunity here. "Hopefully now I can get a couple of wins under my belt as well. It's a good team, an experienced team, a talented team and with a bit more luck and determination w'll get there." The 27-year-old will remain with the Lilywhites until April 10 with his last game likely to be at Fratton Park against Portsmouth.
