Trio Set For The Exit Door

As Preston look to reduce their wage bill the end of this season will see a number of players leave the club and it looks like the first three are already on their way. Phil Brown wants to keep as many bodies as possible in the relegation dogfight but has admitted that having not seen Callum Davidson and Wayne Henderson since arriving here, the pair are likely to leave when their contracts expire in the Summer. Another player who is out of contract is defender Wayne Brown who the manager worked with at Hull. He has been injured but currently fit to play but was left out of Saturday's game. The boss said it is a wait and see situation but the defender may well have other options lined up. No comment was made about other out of contract players like Carter and Nicholson who have been in and around the first team but presumably a decision will be taken after Preston know which division they will be playing in next season.
