It appears there is now a race on for the signature of Keith Treacy after Burnley and Ipswich have declared their interest in taking the wideman. Wigan and Blackpool are also said to be interested in taking the international winger but Preston's valuation may be a little too high. The Whites have put a price tag of £1.5m on the head of Treacy with 40% going to Blackburn as part of a sell on clause. It is believed that Burnley offered int he region of £850,000 which was turned down. It now remains to be seen if any of the other clubs make an increased offer from that of Burnley.
