Tonge warning for North End

Michael Tonge admits Preston need to start producing results "soon rather than later" after Saturday's goalless draw at home to Millwall left them rock-bottom of the npower Championship. North End have endured a dreadful campaign and have won only four of their 19 matches this season. Darren Ferguson's men huffed and puffed but they could not break down a spirited Millwall outfit who stood firm to earn a deserved share of the spoils. Midfielder Tonge, on loan from Stoke, said: "We're not a million miles off. "Sometimes you can try too hard and end up making mistakes. We've got plenty of games to get out of this situation, but we need to do it sooner rather than later."
