The 26-year-old enjoyed his first win in North End colours against Plymouth on Saturday since joining the Championship club from Stoke in mid-November.[LNB]In his five matches for Alan Irvine's side, Tonge has formed an impressive partnership with Richard Chaplow in the centre of the park and would be happy to stay beyond the end of December.[LNB]"I am really enjoying it from a personal point of view so hopefully I can keep playing. I am getting fitter with each game and I am loving it," Tonge told Preston's official website.[LNB]"I'd love to stay longer if possible, get some more games in and hopefully help the team. The lads have made it really easy to settle in, they are a good bunch of lads and if you feel comfortable somewhere then it is always easier to play football.[LNB]"That's definitely been the case here, so if I could stay then that would be good. We will have to see what happens come the 28th which is my last game."[LNB][LNB]
