The young striker had expressed a desire to leave the club at the start of the summer. After training with Blackpool he travelled to Swansea where a fee was agreed with North End.
Proctor agreed personal terms with the top flight club and had joined their young development squad with a chance to force himself into the first team squad if he impresses.
