Striker Top Priority

Darren Ferguson hopes to add a striker to his squad before the end of the month when the transfer window closes. It is no secret that Ferguson has been looking for a pacey striker up front. With the Wellbeck deal dead in the water Ferguson has turned his attention elsewhere by looking at trilist Dimbala. Another reserve game is to take place next week in order for a further assessment ot be made on the striker's future. It is likely that Hayes and Brown will start up front on Saturday with Parkin set to make the bench despite missing most of pre-season. Elliott may well have left the club by then allowing Ferguson some room to bring in a striker onto the wage bill.
