Still No Word On Carter
There has been no official word from either Millwall or Preston on the future of Darren Carter and a proposed move to the Lions. As reported a decision was set to be made yesterday after Carter completed a week's trial at the South London club. Unofficial sources confirm a six month loan deal has fallen through and Carter would be returning to wear the number 41 shirt at Preston. Neither Preston nor Millwall have made any comment as to whether a deal has fallen through or if negotiations, presumably over Carter's large pay packet are ongoing.
