Sodje is out of contract after leaving his former Chinese club in the summer. He has been training at North End and has featured in pre-season games throughout his trial.
It now appears that Westley has agreed to take ont he striker on a more permanent basis although the length of contract at this stage is unclear with some believeing it may just be a short term deal to cover the absence of Trundle.
