Shortlist Of Six?
It is known that the Preston board have whittled down forty applications to a shortlish of what is though contains three names. The majority if not all of the names on the shortlist appear to have managerial experience at Championship level which is what Lindsay said that the club needs in this time of turmoil. Names have been floated around but the six contenders appear to be along the lines of the following former Championship managers: Phil Brown, Simon Davey, Paul Hart, Paul Jewell, Gary Megson and Bryan Robson. A decision is expected by this Friday if not sooner.
