Share Offer Remains Open

Trevor Hemmings has extended the deadline for acceptance of his offer to buy outstanding shares from small shareholders in the football club. DPNE run by Hemmings now holds over 81% of the company giving him total control but the company wants to reach 90% to force a full buy out of shares. All major shareholders have now sold up and it really now is only the fans who still hold shares. The offer was sent to end at 1pm today (Wednesday) but has been accepted partly due to the fact that the remaining shares are held by fans of the club who are not businessman and many have either lost their share certificates or moved addresses since the initial flotation.
