Rochdale striker Chris Dagnall has joined Championship outfit Scunthorpe United on a free transfer.Dagnall has signed a three-year deal with an option of a further year should the Iron wish to exercise it. [LNB]The 24-year-old, who started his career at Tranmere, joined Rochdale in 2006 and has scored 60 goals in 176 games. [LNB]He told BBC Radio Humberside: "It's a massive step but one that I'm excited about. Hopefully I'll keep progressing and by 27 I'll be at my top form." [LNB]Scunthorpe have had several prolific strikers in recent years, with Billy Sharp, Martin Paterson and Gary Hooper.[LNB] It might have been the only chance I got so I had to take it with both hands and I can't wait to play in the Championship Scunthorpe striker Chris Dagnall Dagnall said: "Scunthorpe have a great track record of bringing strikers on and hopefully I continue to progress like those lads at the club.
