Scotland call for Davidson
The new North End skipper has earned the call along with Steven Caldwell and Steven Whittaker due to the absence of Stephen McManus, Gary Naysmith and Kirk Broadfoot.
Davidson made the last of his 17 Scotland appearances in a friendly against Canada in 2002 and joins Republic of Ireland duo Eddie Nolan and Sean St Ledger on international duty next week.
