Russell honoured to be at Preston
Ferguson was last week appointed as manager of the Championship outfit on a three-and-a-half-year contract.[LNB]The highly-rated 37-year-old brought with him Russell and Scott Taylor, who were part of his backroom staff at Peterborough.[LNB]Russell said: "At one stage in my career I almost came to Preston, just after I was at Burnley, so I know the people and how passionate they are about football in this area.[LNB]"It's a fantastic football club and it's an honour and a privilege to be involved and to get going at it."[LNB][LNB]
