Russell: Fergie partnership helps PNE

Ferguson was last week appointed as manager of Coca-Cola Championship outfit on a three-and-a-half-year contract.[LNB]The highly-rated 37-year-old brought with him Russell and Scott Taylor, who were part of his backroom staff at Peterborough.[LNB]Russell, who played with Ferguson at Wrexham, said: "I played with Darren for a number of years and when Darren went to Peterborough I was fortunate enough to go with him.[LNB]"We know each other inside out and we're good friends as well - we know what ticks each other's boxes and we're hungry for success.[LNB]"We've got a good work ethic and we want to achieve what we can do and get this club in the Premier League where it deserves and belongs to be."[LNB][LNB][LNB]
