Silly season is officially underway with transfer rumours aplenty.
Doing the rounds currently is a whisper that Jack King, Woking FC’s combative midfielder, has agreed a deal to join North End.
The Blue Square South player joined Woking from Farnborough in 2009, one of Graham Westley’s former clubs, six years after Westley left Cherrywood Road to join Stevenage.
However, the player was quick to dispel such talk on his Twitter account: “Don't know where these rumours have come for but I've not signed for anyone".
