Ferguson was appointed as successor to Alan Irvine at Deepdale last week and takes charge of the Lilywhites for the first time at Ashton Gate after their game against Doncaster was postponed last weekend.[LNB]Johnson knows a change of manager often results in an upturn in fortunes, but he is determined to make sure that is not the case this weekend.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "We've got to buck that trend.[LNB]"You know all teams will be up for it with a new manager, all the problems that some players may have had with a previous manager have gone and they will have a new lease of life.[LNB]"But we're still in a good position and if we can win our fair share of home games that we have got coming up then we can get ourselves back challenging."[LNB][LNB]
