Revolving Doors

As the transfer window opened Preston swung into action with players heading in both directions to and from Deepdale.

Whilst no money has been splashed, Luke Foster, who has impressed whilst being on non contractual terms, has now signed a permanent deal to keep him at the club until the end of the season.

Holroyd, who was one of Westley's first signings last January, has agreed to terminate his contract by mutual consent allowing him to become a free agent. He had been playing at Macclesfield for the first part of the season.

Despite rumours to the contrary another of Westley's star striker signings has been allowed to leave as Anthony Elding returned to Grimsby after spending time on loan at Deepdale. Todd Kane has also returned to Chelsea after completing his loan spell.
