Replacements At The Ready
Phil Brown is hoping to sign a left back before the start of the season but could yet add to more faces to his squad depending on departures fromt he club. Daley and Lingzani started the final pre-season game with the Jamaican winger playing on the left hand side where Keith Treacy would normally feature. Daley looked lively and is certain to be offered a contract no matter what happens. LInganzi has impressed Brown and appears out of the picture at Rovers and would be a powerful addition to the Preston squad. It is believed that if Barton leaves the club, a one year season long loan will be agreed to bring Linganzi to the club.
