Gallagher worry for Preston
Twelve-goal forward Paul Gallagher is a doubt for Preston's rearranged clash with Walsall at Deepdale.
The Leicester loanee came off with a knock after scoring in North End's 2-0 win over Scunthorpe on Saturday but boss Simon Grayson is blessed with plenty of attacking options if Gallagher is ruled out.
As well as the fit-again Joe Garner, Kevin Davies, Callum Robinson and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Jordan Hugill (knee), Andy Little (groin) and Jermaine Beckford (ear infection) are all back training for the promotion-chasing Lilywhites.
With second-placed MK Dons not in action, Preston would close the gap on the automatic promotion places to three points with victory, while also possessing a game in hand on Karl Robinson's side.
Tom Bradshaw should return for Walsall after shaking off a hamstring injury.
The 15-goal top scorer has been out since last month with the problem and was not risked in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Bradford.
Anthony Forde returned at Valley Parade after a groin injury and is available but Sam Mantom remains out with his long-term knee injury.
The Saddlers are unbeaten in their last eight games away from home and beat Preston 2-0 at Deepdale last month in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Final.
