Wright worry for Preston

Central defender Bailey Wright heads Preston's injury concerns ahead of Sheffield United's visit to Deepdale in Sky Bet League One.

The Australia international has a groin problem and missed Tuesday's loss to Middlesbrough, so will likely face a late fitness test.

Both Andy Little and Paul Gallagher started the Capital One Cup tie on the bench because of minor knocks, although the former did appear for the final 13 minutes.

Kyel Reid (knee) is still working his way back to fitness while fellow winger Lee Holmes (chest) also remains absent.

Sheffield United defender Bob Harris could face a late fitness test after being forced out of the midweek Capital One Cup penalty shootout win at West Ham with an ankle injury.

James McEveley replaced Harris at Upton Park and could return to the starting line-up, while winger Jamie Murphy and striker Michael Higdon are both hoping for recalls after dropping to the bench.

Summer signing James Wallace made his first appearance for the club during extra-time on Tuesday night and is expected to feature again.

Boss Nigel Clough has no other major selection issues as his side chase a third straight league win.
