Preston Turn Down Caridff's Lonergan Bid
Reports in South Wales suggest that Preston have rejected an offer for Andy Lonergan from Cardiff City. Chairman, Maurice Lindsay confirmed earlier int he day that approaches for St Ledger, Jones and Lonergan had been rejected but now it has come to light that Cardiff made an offer for Lonergan by fax this morning which was duly rejected.
