Leeds put three past Preston but the game was not as easy as the scoreline suggested as the Whites put in a good shift against the Championship side

Westley put out a strong side for the penultimate match of the pre-season.They gave a good impression of thrmselves despite going down by three goals to one.

Jack King hit the bar from a shot on the turn before Leeds scored from a well workedvattack with a finish on the volley. Preston soon pulled level with Mousinho curling an effort past Kenny after a decent move.

Leeds were made to work hard but scored their second after the break with a clinical move. The visitors then furthered their lead with a deflected shot.

Preston played some deceny stuff on the floor and hit the bar again before thevend of the game. They also had other chances bit failed to convert.

The performance will be pleasing if not the result as this new team looks like it is beginning to gel together after only a month or so together.
