It is expected that Preston will tie up two deals to resolve the goalkeeper situation at Deepdale.

Technically Preston are without an experienced keeper come the end of the month with Stuckmann's contract running out and Rudd having returned to Norwich on loan.

A two year deal had been offered to extend Stuckmann's stay and it has now been reported that after negotiations he has agreed to sign the deal when he returns from holiday in Germany later this week.

Even better news for Simon Grayson is that Declan Rudd who impressed so well in the second half of last season has agreed to return to Deepdale for a season long loan.

A loan dseal has been agreed with Norwich but the deal has been held up due to Rudd being involved int he under 21 tournament in Israel. He is expected to return this week after England finish their final game to sign a season long loan.
