Preston Bow Out Of Cup

North End's cup run ended int eh capital at the weekend as they went down by a solitary goal away at Millwall.

The game was always goign to be tough with Kenny Jackett having made Millwall into a force to be reckoned with in the Championship. It's amazing what you can do if you keep the same manager with limited funds for more than a season or two.

A deflected Feeney goal was the difference between the sides with Preston having their moments but failign to convert as so often has been the case in recent times.

Mousinho was injured having torn a hamstring during the game and could be out for a couple of months. Preston are either just very unlucky with injuries or have some real conditioning problems (the Laird injury apart which was clearly no fault of anyone connected with Preston).

North End now move to Coventry in the JPT with their only realistic shot at silverware this season. The match is live on Sky this Thursday evening before Preston return home to face Walsall on Sunday afternoon which could be a daunting game for Westley if the game does not go his way.
