Plane Stunt Under Investigation

The Civil Aviation Authority are to investigate the low flying plane that flew over Deepdale prior to the game on Saturday and also at half time. The CAA have confirmed that an investigation is underway into the plane that flew over Deepdale on Saturday as it could be in breach of flying regulations. Planes are not allowed to fly at less than 1000 ft in a residential built up area and a breach could result ina  prosecution. The stunt was pulled allegedly by a Blackpool fan at Preston's relegation in retaliation to a banner that Preston fans through over a bridge on the M55 to passing Blackpool fans last season.
