Preston have confirmed that Paul Parry who has not kicked a ball for the first team this calendar year will miss the start of next season due to the recovery time on the injury to his knee. Parry hasn't played under Ferguson but the boss wants to keep the winger as he is a player than can add attacking width to the team. Parry has been plagued with a knee problem since December and it is unlikely that he will play until some time into the new season.
