Parry still uncertain over move
The Bluebirds winger travelled up to Lancashire on Monday for talks with Alan Irvine and is believed to have spoken with the North End boss again since.
The two clubs have already agreed on a fee of around £300,000 but Parry himself has admitted deciding on a move is "a really tough decision".
Preston are understood to be offering him a three-year contract while his current deal at the Cardiff City Stadium ends next summer.
Elsewhere, there is a strong possibility star names David Villa and David Silva could face Dave Jones' side in Saturday's pre-season friendly after the pair, along with Valencia's other Confederations Cup internationals, joined their team-mates at their Dutch training base.
