Parkin Joins Cardiff
Striker Jon Parkin who was not offered a new contract at Deepdale has been signed by Cardiff City for £100,000. Preston have several players out of contract in the summer who they wish to move on and Parkin appears to be one of those. His contract expires in the summer so Preston have cashed in while they can by agreeing a £100,000 deal with Cardiff. Parkin was down in Cardiff today undergoing a medical. He was withdrawn from the squad to face Derby and should complete the move when the transfer window officially opens in the New Year.
