Daley who has almost been on gardening leave since the season started has finally agreed to leave the club. Risdale stated in pre-season that any players who could not find new clubs would be reintegrated. It is unclear whether Daley was ever reintegrated but he certainly didn't feature for the first team.
There was an incoming transfer as Simonsen appears to be out for some considerable time with knee ligamnet damage suffered against Coventry on Thursday. Preston acted swiftly to bring in ex-Chelsea youngster Rhys Taylor on a non-contract basis.
