North End boss wants consistency

North End climbed to fourth in the Championship after beating Norwich 1-0 at the weekend to further enhance their promotion credentials.[LNB]Irvine, who has many admirers since being appointed at Deepdale in November 2007, insists his men must not allow their standards to slip.[LNB]"We know we'll have to work really hard to stay where we are now," Irvine said.[LNB]"As long as we turn up and do our jobs on the day, we know that we're capable of competing with anyone, anywhere in this division.[LNB]"We also know that if we're a little bit below that we'll struggle, so we really do have to do it game by game, bit by bit."[LNB][LNB]
