North End boss sweating on Jones
The right-back limped out of the recent goalless draw against Derby after sustaining an ankle injury during the second half.[LNB]He subsequently missed last weekend's 2-0 home win over Plymouth when North End ended a dismal seven-match winless streak in the Championship.[LNB]Eddie Nolan deputised against the Pilgrims and could do so again if Jones remains sidelined, although Irvine said: "Billy has a chance of making it."[LNB]French centre-back Youl Mawene remains sidelined until the new year after damaging knee ligaments in the recent home defeat against Newcastle.[LNB]Midfielder Barry Nicholson is also out until 2010 as he recovers from a broken leg.[LNB]The match kicks off at 5.20pm.[LNB][LNB]
