North End boss praises big striker
North End's results have been mixed of late with a win, a draw and a loss in their last three games, but Parkin has shone in each match, scoring in two of them.[LNB]His performance in Tuesday's dismal 5-3 thumping at Derby was one of few crumbs of comfort for Ferguson.[LNB]"Jon Parkin looked a real threat all night at Derby," said the Deepdale chief.[LNB]"I took him off just to save his legs, but he looked a real handful.[LNB]"I always take the positives and I think Jon in the last three games has been excellent.
