North End borrow Stoke's Davies

The centre-back is eligible to play in Saturday's Championship clash at home to Norwich, helping fill in for the injured Callum Davidson as well as long-term casualties Liam Chilvers, Neal Trotman and Michael Hart.[LNB]Davies, a former England Under-21 international, is looking forward to playing again after not starting a single league match for the Potters since signing in the summer.[LNB]The 24 year-old told the official club website: "I'm really looking forward to it, it'll be a good opportunity for me. I haven't played for quite a few months so it will be a good challenge for me.[LNB]"I've played against Preston a few times and they're a good team. I've just come here to play football and try and help the lads achieve promotion."[LNB][LNB]
