Phil Bron and Darren Ferguson were both hampered by the fact that they had contracted players picking up a wage who they would not play in the matchday squad. The players could not be moved on and because of that players could not be brough in.
It appears that Graham Westley may have the same problem. Although many have been cleared from the pay roll as they were out of contract he still has the issue of shifting seven players who he clearly does not want in his squad for the forthcoming season.
